Founded in 2007, and based in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island, Nautilus Biosciences Canada Inc. is a Canadian biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of marine-derived natural products with applications in human and animal health and wellness. Laboratory and office space is located within the National Research Councils Ins... titute of Nutrisciences and Health (NRC-INH) on the campus of the University of Prince Edward Island. Nautilus enjoys a close collaboration with Dr. Kerrs academic laboratory which is located within the same building. The combined team comprises more than 30 research staff, with senior members having substantial experience in industrial research and development. As a result of the co-location of the Nautilus lab with the academic laboratory in the NRC-INH, Nautilus scientists have access to state-of-the-art natural product chemistry (e.g. high field NMR, HRMS) and microbiology infrastructure.
