To start off we would like to introduce the names and faces of Nationwide Reinforcing. Steve Morton and Robert (Bob) Thompson started developing The Reinforcer in 1998 with the focus on reinforcing existing foundation walls. Bob Thompson is a Professional Engineer with a degree in civil engineering from The Ohio State University. His primary discip... line has been in geotechnical and foundation engineering since 1986. Bob worked six years as a geotechnical engineer for a consulting firm prior to entering the foundation repair and waterproofing industry. Bobs primary responsibilities are technical support, marketing and customer support for basement wall repair products. His primary focus was on structural engineering and construction management. Steve has worked for design engineering firms as a structural engineer and 10 years with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) as the composite research engineer. While working for ODOT he designed numerous bridges that were reinforced with carbon composites. Since then he patented and designed "The Reinforcer" concrete foundation wall reinforcement for Nationwide Reinforcing.
