National Blankets Limited (NBL) is a Zimbabwean based blanket manufacturing company producing a wide range of blankets of varying qualities and various related products. NBL has undergone a radical transformation in the last three years with a change in shareholding that has brought in new investments by way of a phased introduction of world-class... technology with the mill now boasting some of the latest blanket manufacturing technology on the continent. Control of the company is through a Zimbabwean consortium and therefore the company therefore fully complies with the requirements of the Indigenisation Act. The company has been operating for over seventy years and is one of the oldest established blanket manufacturing companies in the region. NBL is perceived as a market leader and has a strong customer/network supply chain within the region with existing products and brand names being well known. New designs in line with modern trends are being developed, as are new products to be run from the new equipment that is onsite. NBL conforms to all local environmental, safety and health regulations and will in the medium term be seeking accreditation to the ISO Quality, Environmental and Health and safety standards.
