Steve Wilson, a third generation consumer electronics technician, started Independent Technical Contractors Inc. in 1991 repairing mainframe terminals, printers and personal computers. Having extensive experience in Industrial Communications, ITC added cabling to their list of services. With expertise in electronic troubleshooting and cabling, ITC began sub-contracting to area computer companies that could not provide these services directly. As customer needs changed, so did ITC. In 2003 Independent Technical Contractors Inc. changed its name to MyTECH Services Inc.
