The main objective for founding the company was to provide public transport services throughout the Sultanate of Oman. The company's services were not limited only to providing public transport services, but in 1972, the company began to provide other types of services to the entire community. In July 1984, the company was re-established in accorda... nce with the Royal Decree No. (59/84), where the company was awarded the concession for providing the public transport services to all parts of the Sultanate of Oman. Since that time, the Company was moving forward steadily drawn according to the planned strategy to do its part as an essential and effective contributor in this country and participating in the building of the blessed Renaissance. Since its establishment, the company has played a social and economic role in this development through giving attention to the human element as the basis for a renaissance witnessed by the Sultanate through numerous and distinguished services offered by the Company.
