Musically Fresh

Last April, Musically Fresh was going to be a site dedicated to big, well-known artists (seriously, check out the first posts). But we morphed into an incredible platform that is desperate to share the new sounds of hard working, up-and-coming acts, who we truly believe can be the next big thing if given a chance. We love their perseverance, passio... n and dedication to their art. We're Independent Writers, for Independent Music. Consider this a thank you to all of you MFers who support us, the site and the music industry, and I'd like to add a personal thank you to the entire team who've ever been a part of it, and to all the bands and artists who we've featured. There really is no way to describe the joy we all take from discovering incredible music, or a rough-cut EP, unearthing some absolute gems, and being able to share this music with our readers. For me personally, the 1000 means a lot. It means people like what I started, and what the team do. It means there is a following for music and writing. But mainly, it means LEGITAMACY. And I've waited a year for it.
