Murrumbidgee Water

Murrumbidgee Water Exchange is a service offered by the High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee(formally Murrumbidgee Horticulture Council Inc). High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee is a not for profit industry body representing the interests of high security irrigators throughout the Murrumbidgee Valley. High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee has a... long history in water trading, providing services since the introduction of temporary trade in the Murrumbidgee Valley. Through the years High Security Irrigators have provided both pool markets as well as temporary and permanent trade markets. The funds raised through the provision of water trading services are used to provide other services for all irrigators within the valley, including both general & high security irrigators. Recent examples include the joint funded Climate Change Project with DAFF and the initiation of the Young Irrigation Network (YIN) for young people involved in irrigation.
