Muddy Murphy Holdings opened its first pub, Muddy Murphys in April 1996. This authentic environment was specially crafted to provide both locals and expatriates a place they can call home. The outlet was an instant hit and today it has evolved to be a solid institution as one of Singapores leading pub industry icons. From the very beginning, the co... mpany had a strong vision of developing authentic outlets. Muddy Murphy's and The Penny Black, it's second pub was designed and fabricated to scale in Ireland and England respectively. The entire pub was then expertly shipped and re-assembled by specialist foreign pub fitters in Singapore. The company has also added two Australian themed pubs, Prince of Wales (one located in Boat Quay and the other one located in Little India, both of which have ceased operations), and The Manhattan Pizza Co (currently closed). In 2019, beGIN was birthed marking a new era for the company diversifying itself from a pub concept with its progressive gin bar and contemporary small plates. In addition, Scruffy Murphy's Irish Cafe-Pub themed as a cosy cottage house makes a legendary comeback, thus making this a total of four brands in its current portfolio. Muddy Murphys was designed and built to scale in Dublin, Ireland in 1996. It was then dismantled and shipped to Singapore in six 40-foot containers and assembled at its first location at the basement of Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade by specialist Irish Pub fitters. In November 2013, the pub was relocated, along with many elements of the original décor, into the heart of Orchard Road at TripleOne Somerset. In August 2016, the pub moved back to its old location but it's now known as Claymore Connect. In addition to the wide selection of premium wines and spirits, we also serve 7 international beers on tap including Kilkenny (a creamy red ale) and Draught Guinness® (Irelands most famous of beers).
