The company's initial 6 month training curriculum includes a comprehensive didactic training program lead by experienced surgical technologists. The program includes in-depth training in the following areas: neurophysiology, anatomy and physiology, anesthesia/neuro anesthesia pharmacology, and operating room shadowing of spine, orthopedic, neurosurgical, ear, nose, throat and vascular surgical procedures. After the initial 6 month period individuals will continue with daily surgical field training, hands on patient care, physician interaction, x-ray film teaching of anatomical landmarks/anomilies, hospital rounding, clinical rotations, as well as CNIM License Board review sessions. From a clinical standpoint, each fellow will participate in a clinical mentorship with proctoring by advanced degree holding experienced technologists. The company's fellowship program is intended to fully prepare each individual for the national certificaon examination. National Neuromonitoring clinical staff is comprised of nationally board certified (ABRET) and board eligible technologists. In order to comply with all hospital protocols and guidelines the company's staff is trained in basic life support (by the company's in-house AHA certified instructors), HIPPA training, blood borne pathogen policies and procedures, OSHA, and needle safety training.
