Mountains Health (formerly Pennsylvania Mountains Care Network) is a nonprofit rural healthcare network headquartered in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2015, the organization rebranded to Mountains Health in January 2026 to establish a more unified and identifiable brand for its affiliated institutions. Mountains Health serves as the parent orga... nization and integrated governance body for three community hospitals in western Pennsylvania: Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC), Punxsutawney Area Hospital (PAH), and Armstrong County Memorial Hospital (ACMH). Together, these partner hospitals provide comprehensive healthcare services across Armstrong, Indiana, and Jefferson counties, collectively operating more than 350 beds, employing approximately 2,800 staff, and covering more than 200,000 lives in the region. Each member hospital retains its own local identity, medical and nursing staff, and operates as a separately licensed nonprofit community hospital, while benefiting from shared clinical, technological, and administrative resources under a unified executive leadership team.
