Now an award-winning company, Mountain Home Services was established in 2007 by Kim Chapman, starting out as a post construction cleaning company at Big White Ski Resort. Having been born and raised in Lake Country, the natural decision was to then expand operations in that area and begin cleaning in Lake Country. Kim met her soon-to-be partner in... life and in business, Michael, while they were snowboarding at Big White Ski Resort. They both decided to pursue degrees in Business, putting themselves through school by housecleaning. Michael graduated with a Finance major and Kim completed a Management major. They began growing Mountain Home Services (MHS) as a team, expanding the range of services they offered while utilizing their degrees to create a sustainable, professional and high-quality approach to over-all residential and commercial maintenance. Today, MHS still offers post construction and residential cleaning services as it did in the beginning, but has grown over the years to also offer rental turnover and commercial cleaning services, as well as landscaping and snow removal services.
