For example our road bike supplier has been making 650cc engines for BMW motorcycles fo... r some years now - this is a great example of the level of complexity and quality Chinese manufacturing has achieved. All our bikes are assembled in South Africa in our quality controlled warehouse prior to delivery to the outlets. We pay close attention to the detail of nut and bolt torque settings and we apply safety locking compounds to nuts & bolts that should not come loose. We upgrade certain bolts to high tensile steel as our South African customers are a little heavier than their Chinese counterparts!
