About Motion Records
We are a small independent UK record label run by enthusiasts. We specialise in vintage reggae & dub, where our approach is one of quality rather than quantity. Our Legendary Skatalites album is an eternal classic. Plus we're proud to offer releases from punk-era (and still recording) legend Vic Godard and his band Subway Sect. Although not widely known to the public, Vic has been hugely influential within the music industry - Edwyn Collins, The Libertines and even the late Kurt Cobain being among his most notable devotees. 2006 will see us entering the new music scene, with a forthcoming debut album from singer-songwriter duo The Last Starfighters.
