Mosaic is an intermediate-sized private company that is focused on the horizontal development of resource-style oil and gas reservoirs in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. The company has significant land ownership in several high impact plays including: - the liquids-rich Montney natural gas, the Dunvegan light oil and the high rate Wilrich... natural gas plays in the Kakwa/Resthaven area (Alberta Deep Basin) - the liquids-rich Glauconite natural gas play in the Gilby area Although much of Mosaic's potential has been de-risked by successful drilling, Mosaic is still in an early stage of development of its asset base, particularly in Kakwa /Resthaven where the pace of development has been restricted by limited access to processing and transportation facilities. To meet these challenges, the Company's focus in the near term will be on completing the first phase of development in our Kakwa/Restaven area, a key component being the construction of a 50 mmcfd gas plant which is expected to be in service in Q4, 2015.
