Founded by Nicholas Moraitis over 55 years ago, Nick started the company hand delivering 75kg bags of potatoes to various corner stores and greengrocers throughout Sydney. From day one Nick had a single mission of ensuring he provided customers with the very best in quality produce with an uncompromised level of service. This mission still stands. As the business continued to expand, Nicholas' sons Stephen and Paul stepped into the business and helped grow the business to what it is today. There are now three generations of the Moraitis family working today within the business. Stephen's involvement in the business started while at school when he worked with his father part-time after school and during school holidays. In 1979, Stephen decided that he wanted to follow his father's footsteps and join the family business. Stephen is now a director, managing the Group's Sydney Markets Wholesale operations. He also plays a leading role in liaising with major retailers and growers. Not long after Stephen, Paul made the important decision to join the family business in 1982. His appointment to a production and administration management role was followed by roles in sales and marketing. Today Paul is a Director and primarily oversees the packaging side of the business on a national basis as well as being a key liaison point for major retailers and growers.
