If you are a person with natural empathy and commitment to make a difference by adding value to someone else's life, this is the role for you. s a Care Support Worker you will enable individuals to live as independently as possible using approaches in Person Centred Planning and Positive Behavioural Support. This may involve assisting individuals with self-care; accessing leisure activities in the community; attending education establishments; enjoying trips by car or public transport, as well as supporting individuals to develop life skills to enhance their independence and quality of life generally. The role would suit both experienced carers and those with little or no experience as full training is provided initially and throughout your career.Care Support Workers benefit from £8.53 per hour, increasing to £9.11 for those with a Diploma in Health and Social Care (Modus will support you to attain this), or equivalent. You will benefit from an enhanced rate at weekends of between £10.53 up to £11.11 per hour with the relevant qualification. You will receive 30 days holiday per year rising to 33 days. In addition, you will benefit from an enhanced Sick Pay scheme, £40 sleep in allowance (per sleep), comprehensive and free training programme and meals whilst supporting Service Users.
