MNG Technic

MNG Technic was founded on November 2002 as a subsidiary of MNG Group of Companies to provide line and heavy maintenance services for aircraft in Istanbul, Turkey. After getting rewarded for JAR 145 approval, MNG Technic began to provide services on its 5.000 square meters maintenance hangar, which was suitable for one wide body and two narrow body... , or four narrow body aircraft at the same time. MNG Technicâ€s first C Check was performed on a Hapag Lloyd/MNG Airlines B737-400 in December 2002. MNG Technic has performed its first third party C Check for Freebird Airlines MD-83 in January 2003. Besides of its JAR 145 Approval MNG Technic has been awarded for the FAR-145, EASA Part-145, EASA Part-147, JAR-145, JAR-147, Ukraine CAA, Egyptian CAA, Turkmenistan CAA, Russian CAA, Saudi GACA, Bahrain CAA, Nigerian CAA, UAE GCAA, Bermuda DCA and Vietnam CAA Approvals as well for the following Aircraft types: • Airbus A300 • Airbus A300-600 • Airbus A310 • Airbus A319/320/321 • Boeing B727 • Boeing B737-300, 400, 500 • Boeing B737-600, 700, 800, 900 • Boeing B757-200, 300 • Boeing B767-200, 300 • Boeing MD-80 Series MNG Technic offers maintenance services to 16 Narrow body or 4 wide body and 8 narrow body aircraft simultaneously at 25.000 square meters hangar space. Today, MNG Technic is providing Base Maintenance services to operators in more than twenty-eight countries in four continents at its base with 60.000 square meters hangar, workshops, office, storage area (including 5.000 square meters fully equipped painting hangar) and 30.500 square meters apron area at the cross point of Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa. MNG Technic is the one and only privately owned Maintenance Center at Ataturk Airport and extending its capabilities, and services everyday to provide the best service in all conditions to its customers.
