MLS Phoenix Rising

MLS PHOENIX RISING was formed in the Spring of 2007 as a grassroots soccer Supporters' Club made up of and run by fans of professional and international soccer in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We conduct and participate in soccer-related activities and events to bring Arizona sports fans together for entertainment and camaraderie. Our members also... lend their support to local soccer-related charitable activities to benefit our community. The group's ultimate objective is to increase interest in, and raise the profile of, professional soccer in Arizona in order to show potential investors, existing team owners, and Major League Soccer officials that a large and active fan base exists to support an MLS team in the Phoenix area. MLS PHOENIX RISING was created and organized by soccer fans solely for the benefit of soccer fans. Our existence and activities are completely separate from-and independent of-any individuals, groups, or entities involved in efforts to assemble an ownership group and/or bring a professional team to the Valley. Our members support the efforts of those who are working to bring a team to Phoenix but we are not affiliates of, or exclusively related to, any of the individuals, groups, or entities working toward that goal. Membership in MLS PHOENIX RISING is open to anyone who loves the game of soccer. Our membership is composed of hundreds of fans of different ages, nationalities, and backgrounds who actively support a variety of different local, professional, and national teams.
