M&K Heating and Cooling Services has been in business in Las Vegas since May of 2007. The owner, Mike Hope, originally envisioned the company as an independent consultation service to provide an unbiased diagnosis of what was wrong with the system. Homeowners immediately felt a trust that seemed to be lost in Las Vegas and requested him to do the s... ervice and make the repairs himself. This blossomed into the full-blown Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration service company we have today. This company was founded on the principles of Quality, Honesty and Integrity. M&Ks business model has always and forever will be based on these founding principles. When we started, our business plan was simple; fix the problem and make the customer happy. The idea was to grow our business through word of mouth. In 2010, we were invited by Bryant to become a Factory Authorized Dealer (FAD). This was a turning point for M&K, as Bryant is very selective of their FADs and has very restrictive requirements to remain as an FAD. In 2012, we added the commercial refrigeration service to our product line. This move opened up a whole new market to further our growth. Recently, we also added a duct cleaning division to the company, based primarily on existing customer requests. As our company continues to expand, we have always remained true to our core values, as that is what separates us from our competition. Michael Hope is the founder of M&K Heating and Cooling Services. Michaels experience has always been in the mechanical fields. After spending 7.5 years in the United States Navy as a jet engine mechanic, Michael spent 12 years in the oil field, starting as an equipment operator and progressing up to the drilling supervisor in charge of all drilling operations. In 1991, Michael moved to Nevada to work at the Nevada Test Site in the drilling operations for the nuclear testing facilities.
