Missio Dei

Missio Dei is a not-for-profit organisation with a passion for the lost. Our aim is to mobilise Christians to be effective in their witness for Jesus, the main emphasis being sharing the gospel message with non Christians. Our aim is to spark and ignite a passion for reaching the lost by empowering and equipping Christians to engage in mission. To... equip the church with practical evangelistic tools via workshops and seminars to enable individuals to be effective in their personal witness. To work alongside churches to discern and implement mission strategies locally. To link local churches to a pool of specialised evangelistic resources that will enable them to reach out to areas of a specialist nature. To create opportunities for Christians to get involved in mission activities beyond their local setting. Our aim is to facilitate church growth by enabling newly planted churches in their formative stages to become established in their local setting. To discern and implement the mission strategy for newly planted churches within their local community by providing training and organising mission activities. To help Churches plan and implement strategies for establishing new church plants. To create links with established local churches, with the aim of working together effectively for mission within the local community. To help newly planted churches establish a strong scriptural foundation for good practices in the day-to-day running of the church; within the context it finds itself. Our aim is to create opportunities for learning whereby individuals and churches can develop their God given vision using the talents given to them. To organise mission conferences and seminars where groups and individuals can come and learn how to engage in mission effectively.
