Miriams Melody provides free language classes to refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in Australia, Iraq, and beyond. We deliver in-person classroom events, as well as remote video conferencing classes. Our team in Montenegro provides free, classroom-led English classes to local residents. With better English skills, participants can expand th... eir careers into tourism or international business, or build friendships internationally. We have plans to expand our video conferencing classes to the entire Balkans peninsular. Our lead teachers are certified TESOL instructors. TESOL = Teaching English (to) Speakers (of) Other Languages Our teachers use a curriculum that is based on traditional stories that millions of people grew up with as children in many countries. By using these familiar stories and concepts, students better understand the materials used. We also introduce interesting stories from countries worldwide, which opens the minds of students to people from different cultures. Miriams Melody, Inc is a tax-exempt charitable organization in the United States. Donations to Miriams are tax-deductible. Charitable status can be verified with the IRS website here .
