Minoru Yasui

On behalf of the Executive Council, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2015-2016 year with the Minoru Yasui Inn of Court. We have a vibrant, diverse and collegial Inn that reflects the spirit of our outstanding membership and devotion to our system of justice. September 10, 2015, was declared Minoru Yasui Day in Denver by M... ayor Hancock to recognize our namesake's many contributions to our community and his steadfast belief in, and pursuit of, justice in America. I am so proud that our Inn is now recognized as a Platinum Status Inn of Court by the National Inn of Courts and will be honored at the 35th Anniversary Gala in Washington, D.C. This achievement is recognition of our collective membership that embodies the mission of the Inns of Court: to communicate a culture of excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and skills to the legal and general community. As a member of this Inn, you do this in so many ways everyday as you practice or study law. This year our programs schedule will focus on the common theme of diversity in the law approached by the different perspectives of education, knowledge, introspection, service and inspiration. We will also have our holiday party in December and our always popular beer and trivia night in the Spring. Not only do we provide quality programs, the Minoru Yasui Inn also loves to have fun together, and that makes this an especially nice place to be.
