About Minnesota Math Corps
In response to the educational crisis facing Minnesota schools, the Minnesota Math Corps has grown to place more than hundreds of AmeriCorps members this school year as tutors in various elementary, middle and junior high schools. These tutors impact the academic performance of hundreds of students every year. Become a member. Help students achieve success in school and in life, all while building valuable professional experience. Math Corps currently serves in nearly 100 Minnesota schools statewide. Math Corps members help 4th to 8th-grade students who need assistance with math. The program trains members in research-based math instruction methods and places them on sites such as elementary and middle schools. In addition, members participate in AmeriCorps programming, including engaging volunteers and personal and professional development training.Explore more
