The company's founder, Antonia Ramirez-Painter, is an accomplished CTE educator. She has spent years in the classroom teaching in the Public Service pathway and was concerned by the lack of career-ready curriculum. Her assertion was that there was very little available to prepare students desiring careers within criminal justice immediately upon gr... aduating high-school. Calling upon her experience in law enforcement and emergency dispatching, Ms. Ramirez-Painter was reminded by a colleague of the tremendous employment opportunities available in emergency dispatching. It was obvious to her that a formal curriculum would be a valuable resource to both secondary and adult education students. To achieve her goal of creating a CTE Emergency Dispatching curriculum she assembled a development team of passionate professionals with extensive experience in both education, curriculum development and emergency communications. Each person in the team shared the same dedication and enthusiasm for the project. Furthermore, occupational training partners were invited into the development process, adding a significant layer of legitimacy within the law enforcement and fire protection industries.
