Mind L.A.B is a multi/inter-disciplinary architectural and design consultancy studio established by Kok-Loong Wong in the UK and Malaysia. We care about everything that is related to design and projects that we are committed to design. We work across a range of creative fields from architectural and interior design, food styling to graphic identity... . We are also active in private commissions in creating original drawing/painting and photography works. Given the opportunity, we would be interested to design anything for you! Our ideal is that good design should be accessible to everyone who appreciates it. Our design philosophy often revolves around the idea of "the economy of means" and the 'unexpected interactions" between unconventional materials and/or operational strategies. Developing a considered way in which we can achieve more with less; a greater design outcome delivered with a reduced environmental impact, wastage and cost. We DO MIND creating responsible designs! We are interested in designs that enriches our bodily experience through spatial interactions within the built-environment. We are working towards the direction of creating a place where our wellbeing is achieved through the interaction of spatial design and food, a holistic and sustainable approach in our everyday life.
