Mikes Tree Service was founded in June of 2006. The business started with just a pickup truck and a DR Chipper. With Mike taking on the day to day operations and JoAnn handling much of the behind the scenes work, Mikes Tree Service has grown. Mikes Tree Service currently operates two chippers, two Bucket Trucks, two chip trucks, dump truck, log tru... ck, 16 Ton Crane, stump grinder and Mini- skid steer. Mike and his crews can tackle projects of any size and difficulty. We are highly rated on Angies List and have worked for many large estates in Rhinebeck, Millbrook and Clinton Corners. We have also worked for Homeowners,Wineries, Churches, Childrens Camps, Municipalities, Landscapers, Contractors, Non-Profits and many, many other groups. We have done tree work at no charge for Non-Profits such as the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, Rainbows End Childrens Center, Clinton Alliance Church and the Town of Clinton. Mike grew up in New Paltz N.Y. where he attended New Paltz High School. He then went on to obtain his associates degree at Ulster Community College. After that he attended SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry College in Syracuse N.Y. There he earned a Bachelors degree in Environmental and Forest Biology. Mike has worked for NYS DEC, Heiberg Memorial Forest, Dutchess BOCES, Dutchess Community College, Minnewaska State Park, and Heartwood Tree Service. Mike is an arborist who stays current by attending seminars and taking classes at Rutgers University.
