Migration Heritage Foundation

Migration Heritage Foundation's mission is to document the past and preserve the future. We support individuals and groups who create and share stories, artwork, artifacts, etc. that relay social, cultural, political, and economic contributions of those who migrated to and from southern rural America. We provide nuggets of heritage and ancestral in... formation in our online museum and well as our Heritage Center in Durant, Mississippi. We make selected exhibits available for circulation to schools, libraries and other organizations. To populate our collection, we award stipends, scholarships, and fellowships to needy individuals of all ages who are pursuing a purpose in life. Our awardees conduct research, prepare reports, create exhibits, and make presentations for the Foundation.
