The North Cornwall Advertiser, established in 1986, is a very popular and highly respected monthly free newspaper covering the whole of the North Cornwall District Council area (see below for postcode areas). With a minimum of 36,000 copies printed monthly, it is delivered door to door in all towns and larger villages throughout the area. Our aim i... s to ensure the paper is entertaining and useful and is designed to be kept around the home for the whole month. This is achieved with our colourful layout, designed for easy local reference, lots of local good news and community information, many competitions and an informative and comprehensive diary of events (normally with 400 plus entries per month), and an attractive front cover encouraging readers to keep it on the coffee table to dip into during the month. We maintain at least a 40% editorial to 60% advertising balance ensuring the paper is read from cover to cover; a balance rarely achieved by any free paper (and few paid for papers too!) Being a monthly publication effectively quarters the cost of weekly advertising whilst giving the same coverage. The paper is printed by the Northcliffe Press in Bristol and they can verify our monthly print figures. We deliver in postcode areas: EX22, EX23, PL15, PL28, PL29, PL30, PL31, PL32, PL33, PL34 and PL35. We offer discounts on full, half and quarter page advertisement bookings, on series and agency bookings. The newspaper is in tabloid format, with an average pagination of 80 monthly and colour availability on any page. We design and typeset adverts to a highly professional standard at no extra cost.
