Michelle Carano's love for all things creative has made for a diverse career. Following her senior year, where she worked in her University's public relations department, Michelle went into the performing arts. She appeared off-broadway and in national touring productions, numerous TV commercials, TV shows and independent films. Then Michelle's pas... sion for the creative took a turn. She worked her way up in the catering world and at the top of her career was the head event chef for several prominent boutique catering companies. Serving guests numbering 2 to 2000 and heading staffs of up to 15 chefs, Michelle successfully navigated the NYC catering world. She had the pleasure of working events for 3 presidents. A childhood passion was rekindled when Michelle designed her friend's dressing room on Broadway. She attended the famed Parsons The New School in NYC with a concentration in Interior Design and Architectural Studies. During her studies she was asked to join the HGTV show 'Rip and Renew' as designer and co-host and in it's 3 seasons Michelle tirelessly created innovative designs to suit the homeowners personal style. Michelle currently owns Michelle Carano Designs, a NYC based firm that specializes in residential design. Her client list includes, Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning artists.
