Teaching children the art of dance & acrobatics for over 30 years! When I first opened Michaels School of Dance and Gymnastics over 30 years ago in 1983, my goal was simple: I wanted to provide students with a quality education taught by professionals. I personally vowed to become the best gymnastic/acrobatic coach possible and hire the finest danc... e instructors in South Florida. Over the past thirty years, I have witnessed many of my students grow up. Many have continued on to professional dance careers like my own daughter Ashly Isaacs, she is a soloist for New York City Ballet. Each year as I greet new and returning students, I am reminded of my commitment to quality education. To this end, my staff and I are associated with the finest professional organizations, and we continue to attend seminars and classes given by nationally recognized teachers. At Michaels, dance and acrobatic instruction is a serious matter. We emphasize proper technique and terminology. Our philosophy is to place students according to their ability, and the curriculum is structured to so that advancement takes place as skills are mastered and perfected. Being a perfectionist, I try to instill in the children the desire to be the best. Even though I may be tough on my students, they know this is because I want them to always give 100 percent.
