Michael Hagan

Michael Hagan is your neighbor and your voice on the City Council. Mike has been involved in Liberty civic organizations since 1996 when B&B Theatres opened the Liberty 12 Cinema. Through this civic involvement, Mike grew to love the city and all of the wonderful things it has to offer. He worked at B&B while finishing his undergraduate degree as w... ell as his MBA in finance, both from UMKC. Mike still works at B&B Theatres in the corporate office as the Vice President of Finance. Prior to his election to the City Council, Mike served as the executive secretary to the Liberty Economic Development Corporation and was chairman of the Citizen Sales Tax Oversight Committee. He has also been involved in the Liberty Chamber of Commerce, the successful YES3 and 3S campaigns, and numerous other civic causes. When he isn't at work, council meetings, or other functions, Mike is usually spending time with his family. He and his wife Melissa have two children -- Claire and Connor -- that keep them very busy. When he has free time, Mike enjoys being on the golf course, watching a great movie, or reading a good book. If he is re-elected to the city council, Mike hopes to build on the success of his first term.
