Michael Dusi Logistics Warehouse literally came to be out of our intent to best serve the needs of our customers. Michael Dusi Trucking had been growing for nearly ten years, and we noticed that many of our clients were looking for more than just trucking; they needed a full-service package. So we entered the warehouse business in the summer of 200... 6 as a complement to the trucking enterprise. We found and converted 43k square feet of Paso Robles industrial space to our specifications; ceilings were raised and insulation was installed, along with cooling and fire suppression systems. This first phase filled to capacity quickly, as there was significant demand for storage space in the fast growing Paso Robles wine region. To accommodate further demand, we expanded by 25k square feet in 2007, and then another 25k the following year. With our recent expansion of 10k square feet, and the addition of a new facility near the Paso Robles Airport , we now offer more than 120k square feet of secure, temperature-controlled warehouse space. The creation and expansion of MDLW allowed MDT to become a Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider, bringing more value to our customers. As we move forward, we strive to meet the growing needs of our clients in many realms, adding services such as an on-site bottling line, wine club shipment packing/shipping, custom labeling, wax dipping, case labeling and consolidation. We also pass along the power that comes from purchasing in large volumes, and have daily pickups from FedEx/UPS/GSO at our loading dock, ultimately delivering a very high level of service at a competitive price. We have been fortunate enough to work with some of the top wineries in California and the Pacific Northwest.
