It was the vision of two directors in late 1988 to enter the market and provide fire and security solutions with excellent service and thus Meteor Fire & Security (Pty) Ltd was established. In 1997 the Meteor Group of companies was amalgamated into a listed group. In late 1999, both directors envisioned the opportunity to once again provide excelle... nt fire and security solutions with a more direct involvement in company dealings and thus established MFS Electronic Projects (Pty) Ltd. Our Company Has Three Major Divisions: FIRE SYSTEMS DIVISION: Under this division our major role is to focus on Fire Risk. Currently the division has two internal divisions these being projects and service divisions respectively. The projects division will be responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of new systems to expansions on various systems. The service division is responsible for maintaining current fire systems, recommending system modifications to reduce risk and issuing certification on correct functionality of these systems. These systems utilize a main control panel and are primarily monitored with smoke detectors through the building to identify any potential fire hazards emitting smoke.
