Meyer was founded in Hong Kong in 1951. In the early days, we produced for export various kinds of metal consumer products, such as flashlights, lanterns, hinges, ashtrays, tennis rackets, etc. It was not until the early 70's that we ventured into non-stick aluminum cookware business. Because of the success we enjoyed, in 1980, we decided to go als... o into stainless steel cookware. Then through our innovative effort, we expanded into the hard-anodized business and introduced into the U.S. the world's first hard anodized non-stick cookware line, Circulon, in 1986, thereby creating a new gourmet cookware category.
