Meyer Concrete Pumping & Conveyor Service, LLC, was established in 2012 as a concrete and material placement contractor located in the Chicago area. Our roots, however, go a lot deeper than that. In June 2012 Mike Popp purchased the concrete placement division of Meyer Material Company from the previous owners, a large international corporation, re... turning the company to a family-owned, local business. Although we are a "new" company, our roots in the placement business go back nearly 50 years via the previous owners. Through the purchase we gained over 150 years of combined experience, including the operators and managers of the previous company. We believe we have the best operators and the most well-maintained, late-model fleet of concrete pumps and conveyors in the Chicago area. Our operators are our biggest asset, and most have been factory trained in the maintenance and care of their machines. As members of the American Concrete Pumping Association we take full advantage of the training provided to us, and all of our operators are ACPA certified. We pride ourselves on a culture of safety and are proud of our current experience mod of 0.87. We have a thorough drug testing program, and all employees are subjected to random testing.
