This year, private donations were able to fund our Art Literacy supply kits for every student, 100 School supply kits for those in need, 100 pairs of headphones, and... styluses and whiteboards for every student. The Metzger Elementary Parent Support Organization is a nonprofit organization that helps to support Metzger Elementary School in Tigard, Oregon. We do this through financial support to the school, hosting events, and connecting volunteers to school projects. Our organization fills a vital gap in funding by providing money to teachers to help buy supplies for classrooms, funding field trips, providing student reading literacy materials, and paying for our Art Literacy program. We also help provide people power by organizing volunteers to plan and staff events at the school and to teach art programs within the classroom.
