We can meet you in person and/or talk to you by phone to help you with your crisis. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Mental health crisis response is provided regardless of your ability to pay. Mental health crisis workers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide counseling and support. We can help you work through a difficult situation and manage the crisis. We can help you calm down someone who is angry, out of control or very upset. We can also help you make the situation safer. Our staff will help you develop a plan for managing crisis, now and in future situations. Crisis stabilization is an in-home follow-up service that can last up to four weeks. Our team works with community organizations, hospitals, schools, and law enforcement to help better understand mental health. How can crisis response help me? The crisis worker can assess what is happening, calm the crisis and lay out a plan for keeping everyone safe. They can also connect you to other community-based resources to help you with ongoing needs and support. What will happen if I call? A mental health crisis worker will answer the phone and ask you to tell them what is happening. They will first ask you questions to see if you or someone you care about is in danger.
