MESNAC, one of the world's leading tire equipment manufacturers and software providers, has purchased a majority interest in the Akron based Test Measurement Systems, Inc., (TMSI) for an undisclosed amount. The TMSI brand and identity will be retained. TMSI CEO Dr. Jerry Potts and other senior management staff will remain with the business and work... with MESNAC to identify opportunities for growth, product innovation and diversification. TMSI, which was founded in 2000, specializes in the design and manufacture of custom-designed scientific and test engineering systems for the tire and automotive industry. MESNAC is a global enterprise that supplies a wide range of tire manufacturing equipment ranging from raw material mixing to final product testing. It has research institutes in US, UK, Europe, Qingdao and Beijing and has sales and service operations in North/Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, India and Greater China.
