Merseyside Arts Foundation

Merseyside Arts Foundation is an independent development organisation supporting engagement in the arts and creative industries. Founded in July 2013, we are a new organisation with a remit of identifying, nurturing and establishing Merseyside's creative talent. From young people who exhibit talent and potential, to early career artists looking to... take their first professional steps, to more established artists ready to make an international impact, we work with a variety of approaches which are always owned and driven by the artists involved. Our first order of business is a ground-breaking music development programme supporting the region's leading independent bands and solo artists to further their careers through a series of mentoring and studio recording opportunities. Following the successes of the programme we are now looking to replicate this model in support of new projects across film, literature, visual arts and theatre throughout 2017.
