Having taken a History degree at Cambridge University, Michael entered the City & worked in the global capital markets for 15 years as an Investment Banker. During this time, he acquired a vast collection of movie & music memorabilia, most coming from auction houses such as Christ... ie's, Sotheby's & Bonhams. In 1997 Michael left the City & established MEM, trading on the Internet as vinylandfilmposters.co.uk Although MEM continues to source new stock from auctions, we also have an extensive network of industry contacts & are continually adding new material. As the Business has grown, it was decided to streamline operations with 2 dedicated websites: moviepostermem.com and rockpopmem.com . A great deal of MEM's business consists of undertaking specific "searches", looking for that particular item.
