The Melbourne Athletic Club is the area's new premier fitness club and the first of its kind in Brevard County that incorporates the latest fitness technology. Our mission is to introduce our members to an exciting, "unheard" of, results-driven athletic club. Our facility is the first in the area to provide each member with the technology to track... their performance throughout the entire facility. The MAC will provide a cutting-edge fitness experience by using the MYZONE® system. MYZONE® is a real-time heart rate monitoring system that transmits heart rate, calories and effort to a live display and sends the report to your email. We believe using the MYZONE® technology to track your workout, heart rate, and effort is the future of fitness. This is all done in the free, downloadable MYZONE® App. What does this mean for you? With five 60-inch flat screen monitors throughout our club, you'll always know where you stand. Whether you are enjoying one of our many "FHIT" (Functional High Intensity Training) group classes, lifting weights, or doing Cardio on our interactive Discovery Life Fitness machines (equipped to connect to cable or the internet), we can help you track your performance so that you can make improvements to get results. The MAC helps athletes at any level excel in their sport, as well as the non-athlete trying to reach their own individual goals. The MAC is built to accommodate personal trainers and their clients' needs by providing the most up to date equipment and plenty of private space. We encourage trainers to bring their clientele to train at our facility. The first time is always free so come in and experience the difference. The MAC is not a MEGA Gym chain.
