Mary Kelly, current Owner and President of MEF Commercial Services, brought her expertise to the company nearly a decade ago. Named for Mary and her daughters, Emily and Faith, MEF Commercial Services is a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE). The company serves businesses the Central Pennsylvania region, with an office located in Camp Hill, Pa. Prior to her involvement with MEF, Mary, who is both a licensed Realtor and a Certified Property Manager (CPM), spent a combined 12 years as a facility manager and property manager for apartment complexes in the Central Pennsylvania region. As such, Mary gained valuable insight into the commercial cleaning industry. Now, years later, she continues to call upon those experiences as she guides and expands her own business. When Mary took over the company in 2002, she was stunned by the amount of harsh chemicals that the industry was using. Convinced there was a better alternative, Mary made a personal commitment. She vowed to use green products - meaning they possessed low VOCs and were biodegradable - whenever and wherever possible. Sacrificing performance was not an option, however. Mary makes it a point to review both ingredients and performance before employing any cleaners or disinfectants.
