Oxford Medical Students' Society (MedSoc) is the society for all Oxford students in their first three years at medical school. Our aim is to improve your experience here, both academically and socially. The society is run entirely by the committee, all of whom are studying medicine at Oxford and are either in second or third year. The committee is... elected by the members of the society midway through trinity (summer) term and begin their roles at the start of the summer holiday in anticipation of the arrival of the new intake of medical students. We organise awesome events, big and small, from lectures and free food at the Medical School (known as the MSTC) to cocktail nights and pub crawls. Then there is the all important dissection drinks each term and the one and only Medic Ball! You will also get free or discounted tickets to our events, and benefits and discounts all around Oxford. MedSoc also exists to aid communication between the medic student body (members and non-members alike) and the faculty and can act as the medium through which comments, questions and suggestions can be passed on to the staff during reviews held each term.
