Medminder

Smart International Services taught me to surround myself with people who pushed me to my limits. SIS was where I learned how to build amazing user interface for merchants and clients. I helped carry out the top-to-bottom design and front-end implementation of both SISs English and Japanese website. The customer-driven culture taught me that empath... y matters so much. I was one of the few interns to work with UC PLASMAs small, brilliant team. During the couple of months, I designed PLASMAs front-end website and implemented initiatives to guide product launches using A/B test results. Im grateful for the time I spent with these folks, whose work gave me a glimpse into the challenges and rewards of an entrepreneurs life. Medminder is an app built on 2018 at UC Davis hackathon using swift with Apples IDE, XCode. The company's goal is to provide an elderly-friendly pill management app that reminds the user to take their medications with a series of visual and auditory alerts. The reminders occur in intervals that the user specifies. UCD presented unprecedented scale and diversity of opportunity. My two years of phenomenal professors across the disciplines pushed me to expand, challenge, and adjust my worldview. My experience with UCD Computer Science club allowed me to work with other technology such as AI Natural Learning Processing, Unity Virtual Reality development, and iOS Development. UCD showed me what I love to do, gifted me with a love for learning, and surrounded me with a wealth of inspiring peers. Im grateful for my experience at South High School. I learned how to articulate my ideas (as Asian Club board member), competed thrice in state championship (with marching band), fell in love with learning, and participated in service events for the local community.Read More
