Meadowthorpe educates all students to be productive and responsible members of our changing world. Our staff members assure quality instruction in a secure, inviting and diversified environment. We are celebrating our fifth year as a "Leader in Me" school. We were one of the first "Leader in Me" schools in Kentucky. We are proud to have welcomed ov... er 600 visitors into our school in one year's time to see what "Leader in Me" can do to empower, engage, and support students, staff, families and community. Today Kentucky has nearly 200 "Leader in Me" schools, and we are proud to be leading the way for others. Our vision statement is: "Meadowthorpe Elementary is becoming a model learning community of academic excellence and personal leadership." Meadowthorpe's KPREP results they received in the fall of 2013 revealed that the students demonstrated the greatest academic growth in all Fayette County Public Schools.
