Ive been a professional graphic designer for over 15 years, helping small businesses, brides and grooms, and even some of the largest hospitals in Toronto. Ive really enjoyed creating a slew of different kinds of designs for all these groups, but more than that, Ive loved it when theyve told me how easy I made the process for them. I was working in marketing at the time, putting in way too many hours. I was exhausted all the time. I finally had to quit when the stress started impacting my health. I realised then, that this just wasn't the way I wanted to live. I wanted a great career, and to spend time on life outside of work. I started doing freelance graphic design work, mostly in the non-profit sector. I also started my first company, mdc designs invitations .
