Welcome to the McMurtrey Whitetail Ranch! McMurtrey Whitetail Ranch is a 1300 acre managed game ranch located 7 miles southwest of Eden, Tx. The Ranch touts superior genetics for the most sought after and elusive, North Americas Whitetail Bucks!!! Superior genetics have been naturally introduced into our native deer herd! Our buck to doe ratio is c... onducive to an exciting time in rattling in the Muy Grande or experiencing the hot and heavy rut!!! In most typical hunts, it is baseline to view 10 -15 bucks in one sitting! The ranch is a participant in Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments Managed Land Deer Permit program, as such, it provides for a more liberal time frame in which to hunt. MLDP season begins October 3, 2020 to February 28, 2021! Permits are utilized in lieu of license tags under the program. Whitetail Bucks have always been our focus, however, Axis Deer and Blackbuck Antelope hunts are offered as well, as availability dictates.
