In 2003, passionate for the a... rt of photography, Mary Beth Kratsas opened the doors to Mere Elegance Portraiture, which soon became MBK Photography. With a strong background in photography training at Ivy School for Professional Art and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Mary Beth developed the confidence in her work that has since earned her many awards and recognition across the globe. Her first camera was a polaroid, one of those instant cameras that developed before your eyes. Her siblings and family pets soon became subjects in many of her beginning works. Anywhere she traveled her camera was always with her ready for that next great shot.
