Mazda Motor Europe (MME) is the regional headquarters of Mazda for the European market. It was established in 1989 and is located in Leverkusen, Germany, on the banks of the river Rhine. But our roots in Europe go back much further, to 1967 to be exact, when Mazda began full-scale exports to the continent. Success followed quickly with the establis... hment of Mazda Motor Parts Centre in Belgium in 1968 and the creation of Mazda Motors Deutschland in 1972. This led to the development of the Mazda 323 - the first Mazda designed specifically for the European market. MME develops strategies, concepts and processes, that successfully position Mazda in Europe and coordinates the operations of all National Sales Companies and Independent Distributors in more than 30 countries.
