Maximum Velocity Gymnastics

Coach Natalie opened Maximum Velocity Gymnastics in August 2016 out of her desire to provide the best possible gymnastics coaching to children of all levels, ages and abilities. Her passion for gymnastics as a sport helps children develop physically, mentally and emotionally. Great coaching means inspired and confident kids who are able to achieve... their goals and succeed in the sport as well as in life. Maximum Velocity Gymnastics is dedicated to each child's success both in and out of the gym. Our mission is to enhance children's lives through the sport of gymnastics which assists in the development of leadership, self-discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence. We are committed to providing each athlete with the tools they need to learn and grow surrounded by coaches that nurture their dreams and assist them in achieving their goals. We encourage all coaches and athletes to embrace challenge and excellence allowing each person to accept accountability for their successes and be the best they can in athletics and in life. These classes introduce ages 18 mos. to 3 1/2 years to basic gymnastics concepts with the help of a caregiver. These skills are great for helping children to develop motor skills and to be safer in play. In our co-ed 3 & 4 year old classes, the social skills of sharing, helping others, and listening politely are as important to learn as gymnastics skills. Children are presented with basic gymnastics skills such as rolling, swinging, jumping, and balancing. Children must be potty trained to participate. This is the introductory level of our recreational gymnastics program. Balance, strength and flexibility are the main focus. Students are introduced to all gymnastics apparatus, including the bars, beam, vault, and trampolines. Students are always moving and rotating from one skill to the next mastering basic techniques that will help them to progressively improve to the next level.
